Career Care Program

Welcome to the Career Care Program

Many employees often navigate high-pressure environments and are regularly exposed to distressing or sensitive material. Over time, this can lead to burnout, emotional fatigue, or trauma.

We understand these unique challenges at Health in Mind and offer Career Care Sessions. Career Care Sessions are confidential, psychologist-led support designed to strengthen emotional resilience and promote long-term wellbeing for your team.

What is the Career Care Program?

Career Care offers your team access to 60-minute, confidential one-on-one sessions with an experienced registered psychologist.

These sessions provide a safe, supportive space to reflect, and build practical strategies for ongoing wellbeing.

Each employee can access one session per quarter, tailored to help them manage:

  • Managing Stress and Workload Pressures
  • Coping with Vicarious Trauma
  • Enhancing Emotional Resilience
  • Improving Communication and Conflict Resolution
  • Balancing Work-Life demands

Support beyond EAP

While Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) are a useful resource, they rely on self-referral, meaning many staff don’t seek help until they’re already overwhelmed.

Career Care is a proactive, employer led initiative that provides early intervention and ongoing psychological support for employees working in high pressure environments or distressing or sensitive material exposure.

The Career Care Program offers a proactive, evidence-based approach, helping employers take meaningful and proactive steps to support their staff before issues escalate.
