Reportable Family Therapy
Our multidisciplinary team at Health in Mind offers reportable family therapy. Our experienced family therapy team will assist parents and children to navigate the challenges involved in a relationship breakdown whilst being focussed on achieving a common goal.
The family therapist will work with each member of the family to identify and assist in managing interpersonal issues with a focus on developing strategies to create a safe and supportive environment for all family members into the future.
The Health in Mind team will clearly explain the objectives of the family therapy to each family member, in addition to their role and responsibility. It is an expectation that each family member fully cooperates, supports and wholeheartedly participates in the intervention.
The Health in Mind team will guide each family member through this process, as its often a very stressful time for all parties. We will support the family through this journey to ensure peace of mind is achieved and safety is prioritised.
As per the court ordered request, the Health in Mind family therapist will be required to report back to the court with findings and recommendations identified through the family therapy process.
Our beautiful clinic located in Nedlands provides a safe and nurturing space for each family member to undergo family therapy. Each family member will be required to attend the clinic with the Family Therapist on a one on one basis.
Scheduling of these appointments are well structured to ensure convenience and flexibility.
HOW TO REFER
Please send through a referral request via hello@healthmind.com.au. Acknowledgement of referral will be completed within 1 business day.
COST OF SERVICE
$250 plus gst per hour
Upfront payment is required at least 24 hours prior to appointment, or the appointment will be rescheduled. An invoice and payment link will be sent via email for pre-payment to occur. Please note, we do not accept split payments.
For Legal Aid referrals, given the limited funding allocated in line with the referral request, in order for the Family therapist to complete the request, additional funding maybe requested once upon the allocated legal aid funding has been exhausted. The family therapist, will determinate how many more sessions are required and communicate this request to all parties. For ongoing family therapy, private billing model may be adopted.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Any cancellation or rescheduling made less than 24 hours prior to appointment will result in full fee of service being charged.
